The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has presented four awards to ARAMARK in recognition of the company's outstanding approach to the prevention of accidents and ill health.
Cream of the crop in RoSPA's Occupational Health and Safety Awards was ARAMARK's win of the Hotel and Catering Industry Sector award, beating all other entrants in the catering sector to win this coveted prize.
The company's Scotland and Offshore team fared brilliantly, collecting the RoSPA President's Award for consistently delivering an excellent safety performance over a 13-year period.
As if that wasn't enough, ARAMARK's Defence and special project teams each scooped a Gold award for accident and ill-health prevention.
ARAMARK's UK chief operations officer, Mark Faulkner, attended the RoSPA awards dinner along with 23 colleagues from across the business. He said:
"A sound approach to health and safety is not just a 'nice to have', it's the right thing to do. The RoSPA awards give independent acknowledgement that we have a consistent excellent performance and we continue to improve."
