BP Dyce, which is one of ARAMARK’s biggest sites in Scotland, achieved certification in ‘ISO 9001 2008’ for Quality Management and ‘ISO 14001 2004’ for Environmental standards.

“Gaining these acclaimed certification standards whilst carrying out catering, housekeeping and grounds maintenance services for a site with three restaurants and 1,500 employees, 24 hours per day, was a challenge that the ARAMARK team excelled at. Being presented with two renowned certification standards is testament to the whole team’s dedication and commitment to quality and the environment as part of its wider Corporate Responsibility strategy. Having worked consistently for a year developing new processes and systems and putting in place additional initiatives, we are pleased to have our hard work recognised.”
ARAMARK has also recently launched a food recycling scheme at the BP Dyce site. This new initiative will mean that the site’s food waste will be composted and used on the grounds which ARAMARK maintains as part of its contract with BP.
Already looking ahead to the next challenge, the team will be working with the Marine Stewardship Council towards Chain of Custody certification.
