The annual Caterer & Hotelkeeper Acorn Awards, in their 23rd year, recognise the outstanding achievements of 30 industry professionals under the age of 30 who go above and beyond the call of duty in their every day roles. In her first year of entry, Ros was up against 129 other industry professionals but managed to beat off the competition.
Ros, just 28, is HR Business Partner for Business Dining at ARAMARK and has worked for the company since 2004. Having had phenomenal success in her career to date, she showed overwhelming commitment and contributions to the structure and strategy of the company. One shining example of has been complete overhaul of the company’s reward strategy.
Ros joined ARAMARK as HR and Development Adviser, rising to Human Resources Business Partner for Business Dining in London in 2006 and just a year later, she expanded her responsibilities right across the UK. Responsible for Business Dining, which generates £95m of revenue per year and covers 3,000 employees, Ros has demonstrated a high-level of business acumen from the outset.
ARAMARK’s HR Director Robbie Wheeler, who nominated Ros for this award, commented:
