The Davre Davidson Award is the highest honour for any business unit and ARAMARK’s top annual prize and honours the business unit that best reflects the entrepreneurial passion, drive and risk-taking exemplified by ARAMARK’s founder. ARAMARK UK is the 13th winner.
Joe Neubauer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, presented the award on Tuesday night in Naples, Florida, at the Executive Leadership Council meeting.
ARAMARK UK's Chief Executive, Andrew Main, accepted the award with members of the senior leadership team. Andrew said, "I’m immensely proud of the team on stage here, but also of the teams that they’ve surrounded themselves with. This team has shown their determination, not only to find great talent, but to find great talent with a moral compass aligned with the Board, with Joe Neubauer and with ARAMARK.”
Neubauer cited the UK’s three-year track record of outstanding business performance, its cash flow, consumer focus, and base business growth. “This team’s community relations and CSR efforts have received numerous awards,” Neubauer said. “And against economic odds, their business performance again this year was very strong.”
In addition to the Davre Davidson Entrepreneurial Award, ARAMARK UK was also recognised with awards for both Corporate Social Responsibility/Citizenship and Sales Excellence. Congratulations to the CR Team and Sales Teams for their achievements in these areas.
These award are a wonderful acknowledgement of the tremendous leadership provided by the UK Executive Team and the outstanding performance of all of our UK employees, not only over the last year but also over the past three years.
