In aid of this year's Sport Relief, one of ARAMARK’s Catering Managers Neil Heslop and his eager team based at the Department for Children, Schools, and Families in Darlington have volunteered to a cocktail of waxing and 'egging' to raise money.
Heslop and his Head Chef, Dean Barclay, are preparing to have their hairy legs waxed while, Foodservice Assistant, Caz Robson, has bravely volunteered to allow anyone who purchases a raw egg to splat her!
The messy, charity frolics will take place in ARAMARK's restaurant at the Department, at 11.30am in full show of the entire building's employees.
Grimacing at the mere thought of the hot wax, Heslop said:
"I could think of less painful ways to raise money, but it’s for a fantastic cause, and as we all know people love to see others get involved and really enter into the spirit of things! We are hoping to raise about £400 so we really need people - who haven't already - to get behind us and support what we are doing. Dean and I have even said depending on how generous people are on the day that we might allow them to pull a strip off themselves, which is frankly horrifying to me, but anything for a good cause."
