ARAMARK is celebrating yet again, having won two of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards this year.
Presented at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, on 15th May 2008, ARAMARK Offshore picked up the Hotel and Catering Sector Award and the entire UK operation was awarded the "Commended" status in the same category.
Jane Ferguson, Safety Director UK at ARAMARK picked up the award for the company on the night and spoke of the unexpected pleasure in the honour:
It is a great tribute to have been recognised not once but twice at the awards this year, ARAMARK prides itself on achieving high standards with regard to health and safety and it is incredibly rewarding to have this realised."
The ARAMARK Offshore team is no stranger to success having won the Sector Award six years out of the last seven, and the Scotland Trophy in both 2005 and 2007 for its health and safety standards, as well as being a finalist for 2007's highly coveted Sir George Earle Trophy. David Rawlings, RoSPA Awards Manager, said:"ARAMARK has demonstrated its commitment to protecting the health and wellbeing of its employees and others.
