ARAMARK has announced that its restaurant at BP in Aberdeen has been presented with the prestigious Eat Safe Award for food hygiene.
The Eat Safe Award is run by Aberdeen City Council in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Willie Rowell, Regional Operations Director at ARAMARK, said: Being presented with the Eat Safe Award last week is a huge accolade considering only five other food outlets in Aberdeen have received it. Over the past few months, we have been busy submitting applications and presenting hygiene certificates and service manuals for inspection to ensure that our restaurant exceeds the government’s food hygiene standards. Our entire premises has been inspected, from the food storage units to the toilets and staff room so we can reassure customers that our whole restaurant meets the strictest criteria and demonstrates our commitment to provide a safe eating environment."
The restaurant at BP Aberdeen has been awarded for not only its facilities with the Eat Safe Award, but also for its quality of food from Head Chef Bruce Harper, the recent winner of Contract Catering Chef of the Year at the Catering in Scotland awards.
