I joined ARAMARK as the Bookings Co-coordinator at a major energy company where I dealt with all bookings for hospitality and conference rooms. I also worked with the Finance Manager and became interested in that side of business so my role grew to Administration Manager. When ARAMARK won a new contract for an international bank in Canary Wharf, I was promoted into a Finance Manager role.
My new manager supported and helped me to develop and grow my skills in this new role with appropriate training. It was interesting and challenging to be able to set up all the ARAMARK processes and systems in a brand new building for the bank. Quite soon, I had further promotion as first a deputy general manager with a prestigious management consultancy and then, a year later, I moved into a General Manager role.
I now work as General Manager at an international media company, which is a 24 hour, seven days per week (24/7) operation. I've thoroughly enjoyed developing my team and seeing them grow. With ARAMARK I have been able to fulfil my personal goals of understanding and running a successful 24/7 site with a great team.
