Health and Safety Policy Statement

It is the policy of ARAMARK Limited to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all its employees and to encourage their active support in achieving those conditions. ARAMARK Limited also recognises that its activities could impact on others and will therefore take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of others who may be affected by us.

This commitment extends to ensure that the food and drink we produce and serve is safe and we encourage our customers to make healthy choices.

The company is committed to providing adequate financial and physical resources to meet the following objectives:

  • To set standards of health, safety , food safety and welfare which ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements
  • To provide and maintain safe and healthy workplaces and working environments, safe systems and methods of work, and to protect employees in so far as they come into contact with reasonably foreseeable work hazards
  • To provide all employees with the information, training and supervision that they need to work safely and efficiently and to develop safety and occupational health awareness among employees
  • To improve our controls over foreseeable health hazards in the work place
  • To define to all individuals their responsibility for health& safety and for senior management to promote their commitment to ensuring health, safety and food safety policy standards including monitoring of the operation
  • To facilitate full and effective joint consultation on all health and safety matters
  • To establish food purchasing, handling, cooking and storage practices to ensure the provision of safe food by the company

This policy will be reviewed annually as a minimum and revised whenever considered necessary.
