  • To ensure our employees are educated in the importance of good nutrition for themselves and their families
    • New Healthy Eating programme training provides education to our teams
    • CR Training and Awareness programme included section on healthy eating including key habits for success
  • To provide healthy and nutritious foods to our customers
    • New healthy eating programme embedded in the first 100 sites
  • To ensure we work with key stakeholders to tackle the broader world-wide issue of obesity
    • Healthy Food Commitment table published on the Food Standards Agency website
    • Dialogue in place with the Department of Health to keep abreast of Government objectives and how we support them

Life / Work Balance

  • To assist our employees at all levels to achieve a balance in their work and personal lives and support to tackle challenges along the way
    • Issue raised as part of the Training and Awareness pack

Fit for Life

  • To provide schemes to encourage employees to manage their health and fitness levels
    • 90 Office staff been given a Health Check in the office environment
    • Stop Smoking campaign collated to be launched January 2009
  • To provide education in the workplace for both employees and customers on the benefits of family health
